Minimum system requirements:
AFTER DOWNLOADING AND BEFORE INSTALLING, REMOVE OTHER ANTI-VIRUS PROGRAMS FIRST!
- Apple Mac OS X 10.6.8, Snow Leopard, or newer
- The required processor and RAM recommended for your version of Mac OS X
- 256 MB minimum free hard disk space
- Internet connection to download, register and update the product
- 1024 x 768 pixel screen resolution
SetUp after download
- Drag the Avast icon into the Applications folder
- On the menu bar click Go, Applications
- Double-click Avast and follow the installer program instructions.
- The browser extension is not required for Avast antivirus to run properly.
- Mac OS requires authorization to complete installation. Enter the password and installation completes.
The program may ask to restart your Mac to complete installation. Some Avast components do not function properly until the computer restarts.
